Email received from "PayPal" states my account data is due to expire soon and to update same to prevent having any payment issues.

Spoke with Paypal and they confirmed same as new spoof

the email is identical to their page but senders address is

    : PayPal@e.noreply.com

DO NOT OPEN OR CLICK ON LINK - forward to spoof@paypal.com and they will try shut them scammers down

Hope this is early enough so no one gets caught

A general rule is to simply never click on any link in emails like this. If you log into your bank account or paypal account in the usual manner any genuine important messages like this will be waiting for you.

Some are quite obvious as they might have short time frames given for you to do the task.
