Hi i am thinking of buying this PC and upgrading the ram to 4 or 6 gb , then sticking a low end graphics card gaming ,am not looking to play games on ultra settings as i have no monitor and plan on using my tv , coming from an xbox 360 similar graphics will be fine .

Would the AMD HD Radeon 6670 2GB be ok ? or could i fit a better card for under 100 euro ? wallet is tight so the cheaper the better , aslo for the future am i able to switch out processor on the mobo in this pc its an intel h61 ? thanks .

Whats your overall budget and are you willing to upgrade over time. If so then a custom build will be best.

Ad say around the 400 mark , not looking to upgrade to much just wondering will the mobo take an i3 and better graphics card down the line in a year or two , if i spot at a bargain price.

Coming from a console there is a huge backlog of old games and simulator games i can play that were not available on console .

Daredevil, I see your based in Longford. If you bought the componants you could drop over to me and I will help you put it together so you know exactly what to do if you want to upgrade etc. Assembly takes a couple of hours once everything goes fine, if you need more info PM me, I can show you my self build up and running, only built it at christmas :)

You can pick up a copy of Windows for as little as a tenner here: http://www.reddit.com/r/softwareswap

How does that work, is it legit??

I used to work in a place that gave you access to a Microsoft site with a load of keys for free. I imagine they are just selling them on.

You can pay Hardwareversand to assemble it, or take jonny24ie up on his kind offer.

One will cost you about €20. The other will get you an education in adult Lego, your computer completely set up and a friend to game with. All for the price of a pack of bikkies and a few cups of tea.

You download the .iso file to a USB or disk. You pay them and they send you a key. The rules of the forum state that selling or trading pirated software is prohibited but that doesn't mean that its legit I guess.
