CCTV dvr setup on eircom fiber router

    Hi,I'm trying to setup my CCTV dvr to my new eircom fiber router.ive heard it's not as easy as other standard routers,could someone help out please?

    All routers can port forward. What's the IP address of your DVR and what ports is it using?

    setting it up on the efiber is very handy just port forward as you would any other router but make sure u set each port as user defined

    The thing that catches most people out is that they set up the port forwarding, but forget to set the router firewall level to Low, which effectively prevent the router from letting the external access through to the DVR.

    Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁
