Healthy Eating and Lifestyle

So my wife has decided to change her diet and a complete overhaul in Lifestyle. I have been on at talking to her about this especially since son is born.

It will make my life easier for me as I am given in a lot when it comes to eating and had takeout a lot etc.

So now my wife has made the decision I said that I would follow suit.

I was then accused rather aggressively of not having a mind of my own.

Tried talking to my wife but it seems this has really annoyed her.

    Don't understand at all

Hmmmmm. Why would she head the head of you for doing it along with her?

Are you sure that she didn't snap at you because you have "been on at talking to her about this especially since son is born" - assume that by *this* you mean to change her diet, yes?

Maybe it's just the way you word your post, but sounds like you have been on her back about this since your son was born, rather than being supportive. Maybe she's had enough?

I'm not gonna presume anything about your background or her reasons for doing this.

But it sounds to me like she was out to pick a fight.

Perhaps she's annoyed because you didn't do anything about this until she decided to do the same? In other words, she's the one who's expected to feed you - you can't do it for yourself (or for her)? And if she's just had a baby (not sure if I read this part correctly), maybe she feels that you should take a bit of control of some aspects of your lives together?

I'd let it go, she might be finding it hard to get used to the change in lifestyle. She might also be finding it tiring to shop/cook/prepare healthier meals, instead of just dialing a takeaway, what with a young child!

Maybe you could do the shopping, meal planning or cooking?

your post is really hard to read. are you saying, you were on at her to change her lifestyle since your child was born, and when she gave in and did, she asked you to do it too, but you are annoyed by how pushy she seems.

Now as I said, I couldnt really grasp what you were trying to say by your post, but if thats the case, I dont really blame her.
