What car and year is this for? Local motor factor may have refurbs.

I always got mine from breakers yard, never any problem. Should be around the €50 mark but as its for the back you might get it cheaper.

Not if its an electronic setup as I fear it is.

Never thought about that to be honest. Refurb may be the best route so but I have no experience with VW brakes.

Got the car done there now this evening but when I was driving away i could feel and hear a grinding sound when I break but then it goes away after I break a few times but will come back when I turn the car off for a bit and then drive again and the ABS breaks LED is on now and the handbreak LED is also on so I have to drop it back to him again on sat. He said he'll have to strip it back down again might just be a bit of dirt on the ABS sensor, from when he changed the caliper thus causing the LEDs to light up on the dash, never said it to him about the grinding feeling on the breaks, didn't really notice it until I drove away the second time :-(

    Any ideas lads

    Thanks
