    You need a quantity surveyor.
This is not a small job that carries a set price.
Not being smart, but asking for an idea of a price is akin to asking 'how long is a bit of string?'
    Does your insurance cover it?
    What structural implications are there?
Does it have to be demolished, or can it be repaired?
A QS will answer all these and more as well as outline a price and recommend a regd. builder.

i'm afraid that wouldn't cover the cost to employ a scaffolding contractor to erect the scaffold on a two storey house.then there is the cost of demolition and disposal of the rubble, the cost of building,re lining, capping, releading and plastering the new chimney.also chimneys come in a variety of sizes,so the more pots to the chimney the bigger the outlay.
