    Hi!

My car lights where left on all day yesterday. Went to drive the car yesterday and it's completely dead. My friend is coming with jump leads this evening to see if we can start it up. My question is if it's starts up ok would I be safe to drive to the Airport on Friday, leave the car for 2 days and drive home on Sunday, or would there be a chance when I go to drive on Sunday that it won't start? My flight is in late so I really don't want to be stranded in the airport car park!

    Thanks

Drive it for fifteen minutes and try to restart it.

A garage can do this for you at a small charge or buy a battery charger for about 25 euro if you have access to a mains socket near where you park the car.

What you need to do is bring on a good long drive best on motorway and if not near keep revs high so drive in 3rd gear when doing 50km/h to try and charge.
Try drive as much as you can the next few days and if starts after you drive it later it shows its charging.
