Went through few ads tonight and this one caught my eye:eek:
Remember a big thread with a famous "crying chair" but can't find it any more.

Ladies and Gentleman, here it is - a property of the month:

I need to change the search filter on those property websites, or find a better (paid) job...

but,,, theres no toilet in here:confused:

Why do you think I posted this?

If there was a toilet I wouldn't have an issue with it.
This is really depressing when you can't even afford a proper bedroom:mad:

Is this due to the impeding water charges?

Very likely - if there is no bathroom how can they ask you to pay for the water?

To summarize the property - the shower cabin and a sink are in the bedroom, the night lamps that should be in the bedroom are in the kitchen.
The toilet - going with the landlord logic - must be in the living room.

I dont like the layout of the sitting room, it contradicts my Feng Shui.

Few years back a friend in college brought me to his friend's place to collect some stuff. The house was huge with st least four separate extensions on it. Talking to the guy living there and he told me that there were 20 people living there, 2 per room and that each room had its own shower and they shared two toilets between them. When I went into his room I was surprised to see that the shower was pretty much identical to the one the op linked to. They'd hung blankets around the shower so that they could have some privacy if the other roommate was in the room.

I assumed that the rent had to be cheap as there's no way any sane person would want to live there. But no, rent was €300 per month each which would get you a nice large room to yourself in galway city.

The kitchen in the house was small, with a tiny fridge and a microwave as the only means to make food. This was shared by all those living in the house. It was like something out of an Eastern European housing slum. The land lord was making an absolute fortune, €6,000 a month and none of the renants were registered with the ptrb.
