Transporting bikes to Marmotte 2014

    A group of eight friends in the South East are travelling to take part in Marmotte 2014. As part of their arrangements they are sending a van in advance by ferry/road to transport bikes to the south of France and then back to Ireland.

    If anyone is looking for bike transport to this years Marmotte there will be room on board for some additional bikes. The plan is for the van to travel the previous weekend as our crew will be flying out early in the week to get some miles in.

    When they have an indication of level of interest they will be able to calculate unit costs.

    might be worthwhile dropping this into the marmotte 2014 thread on the cycling logs thread, for people who are travelling to same. There was some chatter awhile ago, on transport to event on same. the thread has comments from various people actually doing the event
