    Can someone tell me if its possible to claim medical expenses ,where treatments and payments were in a European country , but the worker is in Ireland under PAYE.

    yes you can, provided the expenses would have qualified if they were incurred in Ireland

    You also "may" be able to claim for the cost of travelling to undertake the expenses, depending on the facts of the case
