VisCom: NCAD or IADT?

    Hey there!

I was granted a scholarship by my country, and I get to choose between studying VisCom at NCAD or IADT. I have until the 7th to choose but I can't seem to make up my mind.

NCAD sounds like a good place to go but I keep getting mixed opinions. I've heard both horror stories and positive comments. IADT seems like a pretty welcoming college and I've only heard good things about it, but I don't know much about life in Dun Laoghaire.

It seems pretty hard to get in contact with students from both places so I thought I'd ask for opinions here.
If anyone is curious, I want to focus on illustration/animation.

    Thoughts?

Having had the pleasure of attending both colleges - IADT has gotten more positive reviews from people I've known studying vis com.

It all really comes down to you yourself - visit the colleges, speak to the lecturers, email them your questions to weigh your options and speak to students at open days (3rd or 4th years, not 1st years - it will give you a better idea). Make the decision you think is best :) Good luck!
