My partner lives in Asia where there's no law for same sex marriage or any other form of recognition. I'm Irish living in Ireland. I met my partner in Dublin a couple of years ago, now i want to invite him to Ireland to register for civil partnership here in Ireland. Just wondering if this is possible? If yes, how can i get around to it?
    Thanks!

There was a thread on here about a month ago talking roughly the same thing but the partner was from Brazil. Maybe look back to find it. Very comprehensive info.

The website of citizen information doesn't say anything about how to bring your partner over for civil partnership. It's more about how to enter into civil partnership when you're partner is already in Ireland. I'd like to get the information more regarding immigration process or the type of visa required, only if there is any provision as such. would be a great help if anyone knows about it. thanks
