Temporary DB diversions due to no left turn from Hume St. to St Stephens Green

Some southbound DB services are currently looping around Ely Place and Hume St. instead of turning right at the Shelbourne Hotel as an indirect effect of the Luas works. The routes taking this diversion will do a different route to get to Upper Leeson St. on Sunday March 8th (all day) and Monday and Tuesday 10th & 11th from 19:00 to the last bus.

During those periods the buses will continue straight from Merrion Row into Upper Baggot St., then turn right into Pembroke St. and from there to Upper Leeson St.

For example this means that for the 46A & 145, there will be no stop in St. Stephen's Green East (842) and the first stop around the corner in Upper Leeson St. (845) will also be bypassed.

    9th / 11th / 12th right? Or is this a very advanced notice?

It's the coming weekend - hardly that far in advance!

Chances are this is actually quicker/better than the current route, given the stupidly short green light from St Stephen's Green East to Earlsfort Terrace and vice versa.

I think he's referring to the fact that Sunday is the 9th but the notice says it's the 8th

To those who can't handle simple typos or who may still be observing the Julian Calendar: It's next Sunday (all day) and Monday and Tuesday from 19:00 to the last service on both days.
