    Hi Henrik,

I would recommend staying at the Premier Inn. The nearest ones to that Travelodge are

    http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/GLANEW/glasgow-motherwell

    http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/CUMDOV/glasgow-cumbernauld

There rooms are modern, spacious, very comfortable and they have a Good Night guarantee policy to ensure that guests are quiet & respectful to others at night. They even supply 2 types of pillows, soft & firm. Also, the restaurants attached to the Premier Inns are very good in terms of quality & value. I stayed in one recently in Liverpool and the breakfast was great. You don't need to add breakfast or dinner when making the booking... If you choose to have it when you are there, you can pay the restaurant directly for it.

Some tips for you. When you book online, you can then ring the hotel directly with your booking reference and ask them for a quiet room. This may mean that they allocate you a room at the end of the corridor so that you dont have many guests passing outside your door. Also tell them that you don't want a room with an interconnecting door to the next room. They have these for families and it would mean that you could possibly hear noise from the next room.

I'm not sure if you can ring 1871 numbers directly from Ireland. There is a website called Say No To 1870 http://www.saynoto0870.com/numbersearch.php where you can find the landline number equivalent of these more expensive 1870 numbers.

For this Premer Inn Motherwell, 01698 860277 is the landline equivalent of 0871 527 8430.

For the Premer Inn Cumbernauld, 01236 725339 is the landline equivalent of 0871 527 8424.

Prices may vary between the 2, so it might be worth checking both of them.

    Hope this helps.
    JT.

regarding the hotel itsself, and chain in general, for Travellodges you have to be careful as some of them are outrageous kips.

Others though have recieved a makeover as part of a groupwide renovation project and your proposed hotel is already upgraded and recieving great reviews.

similar to premier inn, booking in advance can bring great deals.

Given a choice I'd stay in a premier inn over even a renovated travellodge, but sometimes the location of a travellodge may just suit better.
