Hi, does anyone have any info on what is holding this up?

I was out walking the dog last night and it occurred to me that they haven't widened the road that much and for what benefit?

Its been out of commission for weeks. Its not like they are building a motorway, its a 100 yards of road.

In the paper about it today, they are waiting on the ESB to move 2 poles or something.

I noticed on Friday heading home the poles have been moved and yesterday it looked like they where working on laying tarmac. I'd imagine it will be open soon.

Don't worry, this is Ireland. Someone will be along to dig a trench through the fresh tarmac shortly.
