What is the (approx) max weight I can put in the back of a 2006 ford transit connect.

I have no other specfic details of the van, that's why I'm looking for an approx weight at the moment.

Would it be able to carry two full ibc's ?

A full IBC is a ton, so no. There's a few different variations, but the low roof has at least a ~610 kg capacity or a ~820 kg capacity maximum. I'm not sure what's the configuration difference. I don't think you'd even fit two IBCs into the back to be honest.

They're plated to tow 1,200 kg, you'd probably be able to get one IBC onto a single axle trailer and stay under that?

    Thanks for that.

A single ibc is already in it (with 400l)

Looks like I'll have to find a plan b

Edit, btw it's the high roof connect, lwb

High roof lwb connect is 900 kg payload, and should fit two full sized IBCs comfortably. I assumed you had two full 1000l IBCs, but a pair of 400l IBCs (or two 1000l IBCs filled to 400l each) would be grand.
