    Does anyone else get irked by Tony Connolly's constant 'ehhing' and 'ehhmming' during his Morning Ireland links? His pre-scripted bulletins are fine but anytime he has to do a live chat he can scarcely get through a single sentence without some kind of humming and hawing. Sets my teeth on edge!

    Never noticed it, but I have noticed a similar problem with Ingrid Miley.

    She's ok while on script but when she has to engage with studio, she pretty much falls to pieces.

    Look out for it.

    Connolly okay-what irks me about his reports is the emphasis he puts on the leaders names (vladamir putin at the moment) He seems to love saying them in reports.

    I think Ingrid Miley is a good reporter. How she understands IR is beyond me...and I studied it in college!

    I thought it was really bad during that particular report and was left wondering to myself "are his reports always like this, or do the Russians have him all flustered".
