No easy one box solution. You could get a combi satellite/terrestrial receiver and connect it to a satellite dish for the FTA satellite channels and an aerial for the Saorview channels. 7 day guide for the Saorview channels but only now and next programme info for the FTA sat channels.

    Examples here - http://www.tvtrade.ie/satellite-receivers/combo-receivers.html

All the foreign channels? To get the maximum no. of foreign channels, a motorised dish would be the way to go. If you have a few specific channels in mind, they could probably be accommodated on a fixed dish with multiple LNBs. The latter is better for viewing at multiple points, as each tuner can choose from all available satellite positions.

You don't need a satellite, they are all 23,000 miles above the equator out of your reach.

To get UK Freeview and Saorview you need to be near the border or on the east coast or on the west Welsh coast as these services come via an aerial.

To get ALL the foreign channels is impossible as some broadcast from satellites on the other side of the world.

Assuming you live in the appropriate location you could get a combo box to get Freeview, Saorview, and some foreign satellite channels. You could even get a TV with built in satellite decoder and terrestrial decoder, no box required at all.

    Hi Spudato7.

    Ya You can ..
    Use a satellite/terrestrial Combo Boxe.

    http://www.satworld.ie/satellite-receivers/irish-and-uk-combo-boxes.html

You will need a external Satellite Dish & an Aerial ( internal or external )

The Satelite dish will give you loads of Channels
    http://www.tvtrade.ie/freeview-channels.html.

An Internal "rabbet ears" like antenna will ( should) get you

RTÉ One HD Raidió Teilifís Éireann
RTÉ One +1 Raidió Teilifís Éireann
    RTÉ Two Raidió Teilifís Éireann
RTÉ Two HD Raidió Teilifís Éireann
TV3 TV3 Television Network Ltd. (Doughty Hanson & Co)
    TG4 Teilifís na Gaeilge
    TG4 HD Teilifís na Gaeilge
    3e

With a External Aerial ( Antenna) you may be Lucky and get the Northern Ireland channels . But You will have most of these on the Satellite anyways ..

Hope this Helps ..Please let me know how you get on :)

    Regards,
    Peter D
