That stuff's fine, its the second dearest of their own brand options normally. The cheapest, however, is close enough...

Tried them before, sheets are smaller and narrower in size compared to the "bog" standard size of roll you get with other better known brands

If it hasn't got a koala on it, I'm not wiping my arse with it.

No matter where else I try to save money, I'm always quite willing to buy decent toilet paper.

The cheap stuff's just a pain in the hole.

Was in my local shop/hardware about 25 years ago and overheard this conversation at the counter- Shopkeeper "oh Mrs Quinn, that's the expensive toilet paper you always buy, you enjoy the good things in life" Mrs Quinn responds " Not really Mrs Hutcheson I just find what you save by buying the cheaper option you spend on soap after"....... Think that was my first lesson for life!!

Was thinking the same myself as I've been buying that brand from Lidl for two years now and there's not a thing wrong with it. Their cheapest toilet roll is crap but this one on offer (Florys) is a luxury roll and is pretty decent. I was just down in Lidl and came home with 36 toilet rolls for €8, 22c a roll is a bargain and I won't be needing to buy any more till at least September, thanks OP.

I got 27 rolls of Nicky bog roll for 6 euro in Costcutters today.Proper sized sheets, unlike the Lidl stuff. The Nicky is 2 ply,and its nice and soft and comfy on my bum too.:D

Someone also posted on the Dealz thread that they have 9 rolls for €1.49 which is even cheaper than the Lidl offer. I'm not sure of the quality though

My arse prefers Floraly's fragrant Aloe Vera bunnies ... but at this price they're certainly tearing Tesco a new ar**hole.
