    I am a small business owner and was wondering how one gets a story published on the journal. I was hoping to get advertise my business there. Any help would be much appreciated.

    There is a difference between editorial and advertorial. I don’t work for thejournal.ie but I do work for a magazine. If a company has something interesting to say or a new angle on a topic we’d consider publishing an article from them, but we’d keep it fairly objective. However, if they just wanted to write about how great they or their product are (i.e. an advertisement), we would charge them for it and run it as an ad. It just sounds like you want free advertising to be honest.

    The best way to get free advertising is in the prison forum, have a god aul rant there and everybody will take notice.

    Now if only there were a way for a small business owner like yourself to get pinched.
