Hi, does anyone know if you can buy methane gas for your car in Dublin or Waterford? I know someone bringing a car over from mainland Europe and his car takes petrol or methane. I can only find places selling LPG. Any help much appreciated!

As in CNG (compressed natural gas)? I don't think there are any but maybe someone else knows better.

I doubt there's any commercially available CNG but didn't Dublin Bus have one bus? Will the car not take petrol?

Haha good point :pac:, but natural gas is mostly comprised of methane

It will run on petrol, and it's only a 1.4 so I don't think it would be hugely expensive to run. But it seems expensive when you compare it to €10 to fill the car with gas and have it run for as long as a full tank of petrol!
Yup methane is very popular in Italy. You can get cars that run on LPG but CNG is cheaper again.
