App Idea

    Hi,

I have an idea for an app and was wondering would anyone roughly know how much it would cost to develop it?

Without giving too much away, it would be similar to that of Facebook's or twitter's app design on a smartphone. It would require a newsfeed, advertising, social interacting, etc

I have minimal experience in coding apps myself, i've just learned some basics from downloading Xcode 5 and viewing tutorials on Youtube but my project would require someone with a lot more experience in this field.

Or if anyone has any information on guidelines to set up an app as I described above it would be greatly appreciated too.

    Thanks for reading

Without knowing more no one can really give you a figure.

Problem with ball park figures is they set expectations on both sides way too early. A good analogy for app pricing is "An app can cost the price of a car, whether that be a €60,000 Merc or a €1,000 second hand Kia".

This is also another good resource — http://howmuchtomakeanapp.com/
