Would anyone have some good routes from Kings yard in the Galtees? I'm looking for something ideally about 15/16k, 800 metres or so. 1. Is it possible to easily get across the Attychraan river and over to the black road side? 2. What would be a sensible route (and descent) for a loop taking in Galtymore,Carrignabinnia,…

Would anyone have some good routes from Kings yard in the Galtees? I'm looking for something ideally about 15/16k, 800 metres or so.

1. Is it possible to easily get across the Attychraan river and over to the black road side?
2. What would be a sensible route (and descent) for a loop taking in Galtymore,Carrignabinnia, maybe Lyracappul and a few of the others. Is that hill at pt 629 easy to descend and is the river crossable by the forest?

There is a frequenly used crossing of the river at 886 221, people use it as part of a loop: up the Black Road to Galtybeg, over to Galtymore, descend via Knockduff and across the river back to the Black Road.
