Golf trolleys

I bought a cheap trolley the other day for 50 euro
It broke after one round as the handle broke off when the trolley was trying to go sideways, has anyone any similar experiences and would I be entitled to anything back or credit towards a better trolley.

Also I'm returning to golf after a 4 year break I'm in my 20s and played a lot from an early age.
My best handicap was 9 but when I left it went out to 10-11.
So because I'm rejoining I have to hand in 3 cards for my handicap.
I have done two cards already with a 98 and 92 on a par 70 course.
There really bad scores as I have had no practice and the 92 should have been mid 80s as I had two eagle putts and 3 putted them as I did most of the holes.
What handicap should I expect as I don't want to start off on a high handicap as I would like to play in some of the interclub cups

Depends where you bought it but I think you should be able to get something back.
The club will take into consideration that you were previously off 9 and I'd say give you 12 or 13. They will be wary of giving you any higher I think

Make sure to tell them your previous HC if they don't ask (which they should)

Afaik, you can play as many rounds you want before returning the 3 cards. Ie I think you could bin the last 2 and attempt for 2 better ones.

Once they know you used to play off 11 then they should factor that into things.

Bring the trolley back and get your refund. It wasn't fit for purpose if it broke on the first round. Doesn't matter that it was cheap.

As far as I know, if you didn't hold a handicap last year you are not eligible to represent your club in Intetclub matches this year. Correct me if I'm wrong.

With regard to the trolley, just bring it back

Full refund for the trolley, accept nothing less........ And €50 ain't cheap...

In your 20's and able to play of single figures........ Get a carry bag, trolleys will only drag you back..

Anyone either themselves or know of anybody to go with a Dunlop trolley??

Price makes it tempting over Clicgear but can not find one photo of it folded up online which would have me worried

Think you're looking for a review of the Dunlop but I have the Masters one a year now and it has been perfect.
Not as compact as the clicgear I would imagine but it's fairly compact.

Says 75 there, I got it for 50 in the Carr shop at the Spawell.
