UPC Cisco EPC3925 Router Only Using Four Downstream Channels?

Any one else with the same "problem"? I like many others have been having intermittent speed troubles over the past year or so, which a few engineer call outs and the problem is resolved for a while but returns within a few days.

It certainly isn't as bad as it used to be as I get an average 20Mbps on my 50Mbps package....... tested over a wired connection.

I am just a bit inquisitive in regards to only four downstream channels been used on a EuroDocsis 3.0 network. I presume using eight bonded downstream channels would be the norm, however I could be entirely wrong in that assumption.

I found this old thread were there was a similar discussion but did not want to resurrect it http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056763697&page=2

Here is a snapshot showing my downstream channels:

    Any help greatly appreciated.
