Hotel Deals

Anyone else think that Bargain Alerts could use a sub section for Hotel Deals. Personally I find that some of the "deals" advertised on pigsback and the like are terrible.

For me a good hotel deal would be €50 per room per night (would even settle for room only on this). Not so many of these offers around since Super Valu had to withdraw theirs.

todayfmbreaks and lidlbreaks are ok, but again €80 B&B in a place that your clearly going to spend money at the bar etc are a bit meh. After a few years of competitive pricing, it seems the hotels are back to their old ripoff ways.

Anyone got any tips/links that im probably missing.

LateRooms.com is great for getting decent hotels at a good price.

Got a full suite in a 3 star in Dublin for 61 a few weeks back, with bottled water and chocolates at the bedsides :pac:

One of the downfalls, for us consumers, of the increased tourism is that hotel occupancy is significantly increased. There is now, no need for hotels to entice us to stay with the offers that we have seen over the last few years.

Can use requests anytime to look for hotel deals. There is not enough need for a sub directly for hotels, and any good offers will get a thread posted if it deserves it.

Not a BA so closing this up.
