Software to crop jpg photos

    Hi,

    I urgently need some software to crop and perhaps change the background of some photos with people. It has to be simple to use.

    Is "photoshop" what I need? I need something free too.

    Picasa is free . If it doesnt do all you need then you probably will not find "simple to use" software to do it. Next step up is Gimp, also free . More powerful but also with a steep learning curve.

    If you only want to do a simple crop, MS Paint will do the job.

    Consider your words of urgently and free, photoshop is obviously not your choice. You need to learn and pay. Try picasa and follow the tutorials on Youtube or other websites, you can find.

    You really don't need Photoshop. Have a look at irfanview.
    A little more sophisticated than Picassa but easy to use.
