I have been offered what I think is mental money for my 60 deg Taylormade ZTP wedge and 2 spare inserts by a member of my club and to be honest, at my level, it's a little difficult to use but he uses it with great skill.

What would be the best 58/60 Deg replacement for a high Handicapper?

Most people would argue that a high capper+60 deg wedge = trouble

Like any other club in the bag if you practise enough it's fine.

IMHO there's no particularly forgiving lob wedge over another but maybe if your set are already offset etc similar might suit. What do you play now?

It's a 60 Deg and I really only use it for bunkers or "Up Fast" shots that I sometimes encounter. I used to play a lot of Pitch 'n Putt and I always used a 60 Deg to get some zip on it.
I was thinking about a Taylormade ATV as they seem to be getting good reviews for ease of use.
I have tried the Vokey 60 Deg and it was far more difficult to use (IMHO).
I'm just used to a 60 Deg but it doesn't come out a lot.

I've a 58 degree ATV for over a year now and find it very good, from bunkers, around the green and from up to 70 yards out. Never had specific wedges before so took a good while to get used to them.

What kind of crazy money were you offered for your existing ZTP?

Check the bounce on your existing wedge, and aim for similar shape and angle, rather than a specific make.
Wedges can be as personal as putters, but most of the difference IMO is in the sole.

€170 for the 60 Deg and 2 inserts.
The inserts are really hard to find (not even on eBay) and they last for a good while before they need to be changed so it's almost like 3 wedges.
I got the inserts from Australia.
I don't really know what I'll do yet......

He just offered me €110 for the inserts.
That makes more sense...... Impossible to get

I'd be inclined to sell them for that, good money and you still keep your wedge. That 110 would go a long way in lessons to reduce your handicap.
Surprised they're so difficult to get, a quick look at eBay shows a couple of items of 3 insert bundles with the Z grooves with bidding currently at $60 with about another €12 for postage.

I just sold them to the lad that wanted them for €120.
I sent him the link on eBay to the auctions and they went quite high over night so he revised his offer.
A few lessons on the way I'd be thinking.......
