Holm oak

    Just wondering does anyone out there know where holm oaks or evergreen oak at least 8ft tall fully feathered for realistic money

    A beautiful tree. I was given a seedling from some acorns collected in the botanic gardens and planted it with my son on the front lawn, and it is his tree :D

    Unless you really have to it would be better to start with as small a tree as possible, they will settle in better and then take off quicker (surpassing the larger tree in a few years) and require less maintenance (and hole digging etc)

    Thanks for that two huge ones fell in the neighbours blocked and stacked now bit guilty so I want to replace them. A lot around here as 18th century landlord planted hundreds of them unfortunately seem to be coming to their natural end
