    Hi anyone here shooting and a 6mm br or 6xc if so how do you find if to shoot. Is the ammo expensive and available. Do you have to import the ammo and if so is this hard to do and does it cost alot.

    Had a 1-8 twist 6xc running 115gr d tac rounds. Very accurate round. At 600 yards your putting one round beside the last on target. At 300 yards I put 12-15 rounds into less than an inch. You can get factory loaded ammo but its quite expensive. If I were choosing between the 2 and was sticking to 600 yards id go 6br as it still is a fantastic round at that distance. HPS would load the 105gr lapua for reasonable money just get a 1-8 twist barrel and enjoy the v-bulls:D

    Thanks for that HPS they are in England is it hard to get the ammo imported and do you have to use a dealer in Ireland to receive it?

    Ya they are English. Jim Griffin stocked the 308 stuff so he might be able help you out
