Is there such thing as auto-tests in Ireland which would be forward-only, and you could take part without holding any rally licences, being a member of any rally clubs, with normal everyday use car?

Generally something I could just go with my car I use everyday and have some fun at reasonable cost?

Yes , and you can normally get a day licence there too to cover you for about 25 euro which is refundable if you go for full licence later.

Just make sure your handbrake is in excellent condition.

    Any links?
I've looked around, and whatever I find they say "no one day licences issued".
I have no idea how those things work, and unfortunately it's very hard to find anything online :(

Don't bother with 1 day licences, a first time licence is only €80 (€40 if u join a club) and doesn't require any medical or even a driving licence.

An all forwards autotest is actually called an autosolo. Why not go out and try some normal autotests?

www.tdcireland.com is a great place for advice on getting started.

    Sorry I'm late Cinio.
The only autosolo (forwards only Autotest) championship is in Kerry....4 or 5 rounds, although the 1st one was cancelled/postponed.
They have a facebook page, just google 'kerry autosolo'.

Having said that, you really would be better off just getting straight into proper autotesting.
They are held practically nationwide and you will learn a lot more about car control etc.
