Bought car from garage, broke down hours later

The story is I bought a car yesterday from a garage and last night I drove it 40km from home. When I returned to the car it wouldn't start, turned over but wouldn't kick in. Called insurance and they sent assistance. Mechanic thinks it the diesel pump. Car is now 140km from the garage I bought it and being stored in the recovery guys yard.

I was given a warranty with the car and it had been fully serviced on Thursday according to garage, it also had the dmf and clutch replaced last week.
Should my warranty cover me fully? Is the garage responsible for getting the car towed back to them? And am I entitled to full repair?
I have looked at the sale of goods act and seem to be covered from what I can read but want to make sure as the garage is trying to argue that they are not responsible for recovering car back to them.
Grateful for any advise you can provide me and sorry if I have posted in the wrong section.
