Do ComReg no longer regulate the UPC price? If so does anyone know when they stopoed and why?

I don't think ComReg regulate anybody's consumer pricing for TV services. Phone services only.

I think its a battle as to whether UPC are a communications or entertainment company?

Was speaking to a friend in Eircom and they said a legal case will be coming up later in the year on this as UPC now bundle the phone and broadband into the tv package.

Did Comreg EVER regulate UPC pricing ?

Going back to the days of Cablelink (pre-dates ComReg obviously), there was some sort of regulation of pricing because they had a monopoly on the market for cabled tv and possibly there still is for the analogue TV service.

I wouldn't say their digital TV, broadband or phone has ever been price-regulated.

Yes in the early 2000s but that changed when the cable market was deregulated in the mid-2000s, general authorisations replaced cable licences.
