How to pay rent in one easy step

So here's my predicament AH, I'm slightly tipsy and what's left of my brain has malfunctioned. I need to pay rent. I was supposed to set up a standing order weeks ago but I didn't do this because I had so many other important things to do like posting interesting things here.

Now, I want my rent to be in the landlords fat bank account by tomorrow. For no reason other than being a good little renter.

    Method 1:
Online banking. I make a simple money transfer right? wrong. Computer says no. Apart from it talking 3working days or something it won't let me pay an individual not on their "special list" or something and I need to set up yet another stupid type of an account bollix. I actually got online banking specifically because I thought it would make paying bills easy.

    Method 2:
Head to the bank tomorrow and do it there? Wrong. 3 working days probably, different banks from mine to the landlord.

    Method 3:
Head to his bank and lodge cash there? Wrong. 300 withdrawal limit per day on my account.

    Method 4:
Go to my bank, get monies there, head all the way across town to his bank and lodge it there? Bingo! yes?

Is Method 4 the only way in this day and age? I must be missing an obvious trick here. :o

Get your life in order so your not thinking of your landlord on a Friday evening

Bank open on a Saturday? I've been living under a rock.

Some are, some are not. Thus adding to the complexity.

I can't leave the rent money in my account all weekend, I'll drink it at this rate.

An order won't clear the bank until Monday in any case.

Can you not withdraw the cash and hand it to him in person if it's really that urgent?

It mostly likely would've cleared if I had set it up yesterday. The bank is open tomorrow so I assume it would.

No, I can't meet this person face to face. He's an entity.

    4 with a twist
I've got one of those really fast bank accounts. It'll work much quicker if you route your cash through it, let me send you the details.

I can avail of the train fortunately.

It's 2014 and I need a train to do this simple task?

Use Kevin Hart's 'checking account' excuse to get away without paying it for a few days.

My brother gave me his bank card today to hold onto because his insurance direct debit payment is going out on Monday and he'll only gamble it. Gambling bastards.

For those of you who have been PM me all day looking for updates on my situation, it went as follows:

    Got up
    Went to bank
Said to bank guy eh I want to be a good little renter can you help me?
    Bank guy says yes.

    Crisis averted.

I had to use method 4 recently. BoI being the useless bastards they are, insist on mailing out a code to active Online Banking requests like standing orders. (apparently, my 3 part login details aren't good enough).
But, they kept sending these activation codes to my old address, despite me previously having gone to the bank twice and filled in their Change of Address form. Similar hassle trying to register my phone.
