Thinking of changing a set of 17 inch standard alloy wheels on an b8 SE model audi a4 and replacing them with sline 5 spoke ones. Questions I have are can the 5 spoke s-line alloys be got in 17 inch or not?

How much should I get a decent set for and will they fit my car?

If they come in 18 inch will the speedometer be hard to calibrate seeming bigger wheels will be going on the car? Are they ok to use on rough roads?

    Thanks.

You need to keep the overall circumference the same as before so bigger wheel is fitted with lower profile tyre.
You can get copies of most wheels in 17 inch but I think the genuine audi s line wheels were only available in 18 or bigger.
If you can fit the 18s with a 40 or 45 profile tyre, you will be ok for rough roads. Anything lower profile than that is a disaster imo.

The answers to questions about changing tyre /wheel-size combinations haven't changed. If you give a full set of dimensions someone can answer your questions about maintaining consistent rolling circumferences, etc. Whether new bigger tyres and wheels will foul the bodywork is largely dependent on whether the suspension is lowered, whether spacers are used, and so on.

No good for irish roads as weak.
