I think it's so rude and it really gets under my fur!

You're there talking to someone and then they start to yawn at you!!!
Sometimes they'll look away or even close there eyes and turn their head too, how infuriating:mad::mad:
What makes it worse again is if they asked the fapping question in the first place if you're explaining something to them.
I find pensioners are the worst for this. Perhaps you've been approached by a pensioner asking where Dunnes is. Then you're just into your spiel and they'll look to the heavens and start a yawn, maybe even a little groan before giving you a condescending little pat on the side and telling you they're sure they'll find it as if to imply you've been no use. Well if you hadn't been yawning for the last 15 seconds and looking around you, you would have known exactly where to go. UGH!

If I ever have to yawn while someone is talking to me directly, I do the decent thing and keep my mouth firmly shut while making sure not to lose eye contact with them. In fact to make sure they realise I'm not losing interest I'll stare intensely at them while I need to yawn and then return to my normal look.

Maybe I'm on my own on this but does anyone else think it's rude!

This is where you are going wrong, you shouldn't be masturbating in front of people.

I fart loudly first just to distract them away from the yawn.

I hold my yawns in. Not the burps though.

The QI buzzer would be going mental for any yawn comments.

That statement would just mean that they asked a question about fapping.

In some situations my breathing becomes shallower and I yawn even though it's no indication of boredom.

Just because someone asked for an explanation doesn't mean you have to tell them about your Spanish apartment though.

I find the way the face scrunches up when holding in a yawn more off putting, tbh.

In fairness though Ted, you are prone to waffling on a bit.

Well I really can't argue with that...

You'll stare at them intensely and keep your mouth shut? That probably creeps them out.

You might want to try just covering your mouth with your hand, and throw a quick 'excuse me' into the mix for goodwill.

    So what's it all about,
do you really want to to know
Do you want to to give
or do you just want to to take it all and go
Coz you've gotta let it out
if you want to let it in
Gotta get a little bit of lovin' in
    to make it all begin

I am an awful yawner at times, and it's not boredom, mostly it's from lack of oxygen in a room or something. There is no way I can stop when I get a yawning fit though, I literally can't get air into my lungs fast enough. Nothing to do with the company.

I look down and yawn through tensed lips so they can't see me wattle wobbling in that yawney way. If someone yawned straight-out in my face, I'd poke them in the eye to wake them up. I'd apologise and mention seeing a wasp..

I hold in my farts when talking to a colleague in work, then I run to the toilet for a quick ripper lest I release the Kraken and shake the whole office. It's usually me doing the yawning when the oul one I work with starts talking about her cat again.
