What is the significance of an exclamation mark within a red square alongside a recording? Is it that the entire programme is not recorded?

AFAIK it means that the entire programme was not recorded. I sometimes see it when I start recording something after it has begun, half way through etc

While we're at it, how do you delete recordings?!

Assuming that you're on the Mediabox (classic UPC) platform, in My Recordings, highlight the recording and press the blue button.

On the Horizon box, select the recording and scroll down to 'Delete'; press 'ok' and press 'ok' again when 'yes/no' appears.

You need to be quick on the draw though, or the whole thing will go back to My Library again. Also, there is a delay from the time you press 'ok' when the 'yes/no' appears and the deletion. By that I mean the 'yes/no' stay on the screen long enough to make you feel as if you may not have pressed the 'ok' button at all.
