    Hey guys,

I am just wondering about these 12 lessons.

After each lesson, do they have to stamp your book after each lesson?

Its just I rang about EDT and I was told that usually you dont get stamped after your first lesson if you can't drive properly and get it on your second lesson, oes this sound normal?

From my experience that was the case but I later learned that was due to the company I went to wanting to make as much money as possible ... Insisted on a two hour intro session and neither hours were stamped .. I'd say go to someone else...
ISM was who my experience was with if that's any help btw

Book is useless now anyway, important issue is that they update your EDT record online.

The RSA do recommend up to 3 hrs practice before EDT commences. So yes, it can be normal and it isn't necessarily about driving schools trying to get extra money. It's about preparing the pupil properly before going on the road. In my experience most absolute beginners don't want to go straight onto the road

It is up to you really. You can say to your instructor to stamp after each hour. If you are already getting lots of practice in then that should work. But if you have never driven a car before you would only be fooling yourself and ruining your chances at learning to drive.
