Phone ringing causing satellite channel breakup

    Hi,

Been asked to look at a setup that gets sky for zero. ...a dreambox or one of those things. I've never installed one or had anything to do with them.

However, I've been asked to look at an existing setup as the guy who installed it won't come back.

Basically, it's connected to the broadband router (as far as I know these units have to be). Anyway, the problem is that when the phone in the house rings, the channels break up.

I haven't seen the job yet but just wondering if anyone's had this problem or knows what v it could be. Would it be as simple as a missing filter or something.

They want me to add magic eyes to it but id like to be able to fix this problem too at the same time.

    Thanks
