Question about getting clamp removed and paying?

    I know of people who has being clamped for various reasons and all these people rang the clamping company and paid via direct debt.
    I know of a few old people who don't have visa/debt cards and wouldn't really carry cash on them, if these people were clamped for what ever reason. How would they pay to have there clamp removed or would they just receive the fine in the post?

    Usually they suggest you ask a friend for use of their card to pay it. Don't think you can pay in person.
