Hi - Im looking for some decent Sub-C Cells to rebuild a Roomba IRobot 500 series battery pack- preferably the type with solder tags rather than normal positive cap.

Im looking for *Genuine* 3000mAh batteries - hopefully for about 2 euros each - but they need be genuine 3000mAh or preferably even better capacity as the Roomba needs a lot of juice.

    - seems most of the batteries I can find online are questionable if their markings can be relied upon and so Im looking for a trustworthy source if anyone knows one.

I've seen a pack ready made for 20 ish pounds on Amazon - but the reviews contain a lot of people getting poor below spec batteries (2000mhA sold as 3500mAh etc). thanks.

Anyone with similar problems - managed to fix it with a Deep Cycle discharge - didnt need solder stuff after all.

Went from lasting to under 3 minutes before running out of power to well over an hour of it vacuuming and still green lights.

    Steps:
    1. For this procedure - power directly from charger with plug - not through charging base
    2. Press Dock and Spot buttons for 10 seconds - a new tune will play
    3. charge for 3 days (yes 3 days without any disturbance)

battery almost like new again :)
