I very rarely get the train and am not very good in huge crowds.
I have to get the train to Westport on Friday and wondering which would be busier - the 5:10pm or 6:15....

    Appreciate the help.

I get the 5.10 and it is normally packed but you should get seating at newbridge (if you don't have a seat) as a lot get off here

Does anyone know if the Coaches (from A- F etc) go from top to bottom?

As in the nearest is A ?

Trying to book a seat but not sure if Coach A will be furthest from entrance or nearest!

Westport trains are consistently packed on a Friday so finding a free seat will be a good trick. Coach A is at the front leaving Dublin; it's a wise move to reserve yourself a seat ahead of traveling :)

Yep, I'm going to book a ticket. So do you mean Coach A is nearest to entrance? Just past the ticket pass?

Coach order is never definate could easialy be A-F or F-A, there is no way of telling as it depends on the way the set is faced.

Last week A was the back!
