Micro SD in my phone gone blank??

    have a samsung phone and recently the microSD card is not reading in the phone. took it out of phone and put into laptop to read but again saying its blank.
    had alot of photos on it. anyone know how I can get the pics off it?

    you could try using a tool like Recuva
    http://www.piriform.com/recuva
    It might see the deleted files (if there are any)

    just tried this and it says it cannot determine the file system type?

    Did Recuva say that or Windows?. Does sound more like the SD is terminal....
