Recover loan

    A friend of mine has lent several thousands euros to his mate. he has a proof for a portion of it. is there any way to recover this money?
    what would be the best way to go ? legal advise much appreciated.

    Not allowed to give legal advice here. Best bet is to go to a solicitor.

    Im in the same boat. But don't have his address or telephone number. I have acknowledgement of the loan but not the amount. I know where he works though. I think so could serve him there but without proof of loan amount id be reluctant to take legal proceeding im 5 years into a one year loan without a penny being repaid. I know im an idiot !

    Nobody is going to give you any advice because we are not allowed. It's against the forum charter.

    Speak to a solicitor is the only thing anyone whose opinion you would be interested in will say to you.
