Are there others on casual work still waiting for the Social Welfare to pay back the 3 days of deductions from the Christmas period?

I gave a letter back in January to the Social Welfare Office that my employer was not paying me for Christmas, St. Stephens and New Years Day. The SWO haven't sorted out the payment yet

If you had an entitlement to public holiday pay over Xmas then it was your employers resonsibilty, not SW.
You have to make a complaint to workplace relations under the payment of wages act. You can do it easily online but your boss probably won't be too happy.

    Hi there

I'm not entitle to public holiday pay. I'm tutoring for 2 days a week. The SW subtracted payment from me for the public holidays over the Christmas period.

Still waiting for them to pay back.

As I've never heard of SW refunding this money before I wouldn't know how long it would take. You should call in the office.
