    Hey guys,
I was just wondering if, for example, you're trying to get the "Deadeye" trophy in Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition, (you have to shoot 10 enemies off zip lines), if you die while shooting them and then restart from the beginning of that part, do the enemies you shot off before you died count towards the trophy?

I'm new to collecting trophies, I used to always play online so I don't have any idea 😋

    Thank you

There's a good guide on reddit. I just typed in Tomb Raider trophies. Here's what is says about Deadeye

    Deadeye -Bronze
-Shoot 10 enemies off zip lines.
Make sure that you are focusing on going for this anytime enemies are coming at you on zip lines or you will need to start the game over to go for this. The Shantytown is a good area for this, and there are a few areas later in the game that have enemies approaching you via zip line. Use the shotgun to make 10 of them fall off of the zip lines and you will get the trophy. If you miss a lot of enemies on zip lines in an area, die and restart your checkpoint to make sure that you get most or all of them

Looks like if you die the number doesn't reset to zero

Some games allow it, like Uncharted, you can get to an area and farm kills, then die and repeat and they stack. I don't think Tomb Raider does.

Unfortunately not. You have to get to another checkpoint before it saves them.

Thanks so much for all the replies! I just have one other question and I don't have anyone else to ask... I earned a trophy on the level I was talking about, (not the "Deadeye" one) and I missed a lot of the people on zip lines (smart, I know :P) which could stop me from earning it. I was just wondering if I did that part again would I have to earn both trophies in order to earn the platinum trophy down the line?

Thanks so so much for all your help :)

No, you only have to unlock a trophy once.
