    Hi everyone,
Trying to word this as best I can, stick with me.

Just wondering if anyone knows any info about changing the areas you have selected to be housed in.

I'm currently receiving rent supplent and my current location is down on my housing list, however, I want to remove this location from my choices and put another.

It has been over two years so I'm allowed change my selection but I'm wondering if I remove my current location of the list will I stop being entitled to rent supplement in this area.

I have co tacted both the council and welfare officers and they weren't any help.

    Thanks in advance

In the county I live in all you have to do is write to the housing dept at the local. Authority youare currently assessed at and tell them you now wish to be considered for a house in say, Ennis. Your local authority should then forward your application to Ennis.
I wouldnt imagine your rent supplement would be affected, but if the CWO doesn't know then you should contact the Superintendent.

Thanks very much, the council have been helpful and all I need to do is send a letter to the town clerk. Just wondering about the rent supplement side if things. Maybe the superintendent is the way to go. Thanks again
