Anyone know where to buy one? In Ireland? A friend from abroad would like one, "fashioned as a walking stick".

I see loads on the net from the USA mainly, have we exported that tradition entirely?

This guy makes some great sticks I own one and have put it through some rough treatment and it has held up well.

There are plenty of smaller makers around the country but most are hard to come by and you just need to know them as they are old guys who dont have a web presence. It is just popular in the US so you see them more though none are made properly and from blackthorn.
