insulation advice please

    my guy that's helping me finish the house of my dreams and he wants to baton and then insulate and then plaster. he's eastern European and very skilled.
    other options from local plasterers say buy insulation boards and plaster them.
    although my guy assures me that its a better job even though it roughly costs the same....but I cant find anyone to agree with him. rolleyes.png please help!!

    I agree with your guy. If you insulate first you can tape and seal all the insulation boards before plasterboarding over. If he is pricing the same he is throwing in additional labour for free - the reason others are pushing towards composite boards.

    What is your wall make up - this construction method has issues with condensation behind the first layer of insulation
