Which decade of Irish people do you prefer?

I saw Reeling in the Year recently and saw some clips of 80s Irish people. Fair play to them, they had it tough but looked like they were definitely having a laugh. That video in the other thread showing people's opinions on Cork in 1984 is good!

90s Irish people are generally well liked, the World Cup decade! I don't think the 2000s are popular though... Myself, I reckon I'm down with the 90s Irish people. What of you AH?

You'd have apt data to compare the two.

I was alive in all three though (albeit not much in the 80s)

Back in the days when hats were almost compulsory for men and they used to over-crowd Croker on All-Ireland final day, and basically sit on the pitch.

    Thems were the days.

This Country is unrecognisable to the one I grew through my teens in (90's) and I miss most of the things about that !

Got nostalgia for the 90's, Green Buses in Dublin, it's emergence as a 'buzz' city before the plot was lost, a general feel good vibe about the country, Jack's Army etc.
